I arrived on this day and found Hanajo trying to save a wasp. The wasp was unconcerned with its situation (trapped in the building) and flew beyond reach.

ReW expressed a disinterest in being taught while her brain was in status quo mode. I am reminded of the viral meme of the week.

Hanajo and I were relentless, taking turns carving out sections of ReW's points for ourselves, building up to a double ron (declared a legal double payout at Princess Place) which left ReW pointless. An exhaustive draw's tenpai payouts were then unpayable, bringing the game to an end one dealer's turn before the hanchan's natural end.

Hanajo made us herbal tea, and we chatted and drank before departing into the night. Having secured another opportunity to update the blog, I slept well.
