PragPoss and I arrived before our hostess Hanajo this day, giving me ample time to peruse Hanajo's bookshelves. I learned something about C. J. Cherryh's universes, but mostly that the tailing 'h' was added for flair. Doddling, it was unclear we would ever manage to organize ourselves to play a game again, until N* sent an invigorating text! Ze was bringing a newly met stranger to play with us, and we were to be on our best behaviour!
Scrambling, we set the table and prepared for traditional seat assignment. N* arrived with Y*, who took the fourth seat while N* attended to duties of offering water and clementines. Y* won her first hand and departed into the night, having accommodated us within her preexisting non-adhoc evening plans. N* took up Y*'s points for the remaining hands in our tompussen. Highlights included agreement that tieing your shoes is vulnerable, two 5-6 han hands, a 8-9 han hand stolen from Hanajo (honroutou), and a Stan Rogers performance.
